The Simpsons series has been the scene of many prophecies over the years. The Simpsons, who previously knew about the coronavirus, Greece's debt default, Donald Trump's presidency, and the Capitol raid in the USA, are on the agenda this time with the discussion about Michelangelo's statue of David. Here are some of Simpson's prophecies...

Simpsons

Fans of the animated series said that the series predicted another event that was reflected on the world agenda. It has been argued that the famous Italian artist Michelangelo handled the debate about the statue of David years ago.

At the Tallahassee Classical School in the US, parents fired the principal after complaining that the statue was pornographic.

The principal, Hope Carrasquilla, explained that the school was required by law to teach Renaissance art in a small portion of the annual curriculum, usually to 6th graders, ages 11 and 12. Carrasquilla said three parents had complained that their children were uncomfortable with the lecture, which included a chapter on Michelangelo's David.

In The Simpsons' episode "Itchy & Scratchy & Marge", released in 1990, Marge Simpson asks the creators of the cartoon "Itchy & Scratchy" to remove the violent elements from the production. Marge Simpson then forms an organization of activists.

However, members of the organization want a petition to be started against the statue of David, which later came to Springfield, where the Simpsons live.

Marge Simpson, on the other hand, later appeared on a news program, arguing that the statue "is a work of art, not a man with his pants down."

This isn't the first time the show has made eerily close predictions, and it's not likely to be the last.

Here are the other predictions of the Simpsons that are correct and will come out...

Metaverse world

Viewers of the cartoon were convinced that the Metaverse was predicted. Metaverse, defined as a world of endless, interconnected virtual communities where people can meet, work, and play using virtual reality headsets, augmented reality glasses, smartphone apps, or other devices, was allegedly rendered in The Simpsons 10 years ago.

The world of Metaverse, run by Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook is now known as Meta, took place in Holidays of Future Passed, the 23rd season episode aired in 2011. In the episode, Lisa Simpsons is seen entering the 'ultra net'. It is told that people interact in an immersive online world in scenes that are very similar to the virtual reality world.

Controversy erupted online, with a social media user posting, "The Simpsons predicted Metaverse in 2011," with the majority convinced that the show's creators had guessed right.

We are talking about Auronplay, one of the most successful Spanish-speaking streamers and a Youtube legend for years. As he has commented in one of his most recent broadcasts, he is banned for life in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. As Auronplay explains, this is because one day he used certain cheats in the game and Valve caught him doing it, so he can never access the title with his account again. "Once I cheated on myself to be silly. I was bored, and they caught me. I can't play Counter-Strike for life, because I'm banned," were his exact words.

Must-have games for PS5

As expected, the following list of must-have PS5 games features some of the console's best exclusives thanks to great work from studios like Sony Santa Monica Studio, Insomniac Games, and Guerrilla Games. However, there is also room for a multiplatform title, as well as for works by indie studios that have been able to take advantage of the capabilities of a console full of power and hours, many hours of fun.

The sequel to the acclaimed God of War (2018) has managed to be a more outstanding game than its predecessor through a story in which Kratos and Atreus must travel to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers while the Asgardian forces prepare for the prophesied battle that will mean the end of the world. Richer content exploration and deeper combat with all kinds of enemies, from monsters to Norse gods, make God of War: Ragnarök an essential title, being the most awarded at The Game Awards 2022.
